They became friends and brothers, son and father. Lesra helped Rubin, a prizefighter got his justice and out of prison after two decades in jail. Rubin was set up by the dirty police who was eager to had hime shut in jail, for race discrimination
maybe.
The Hurricane returned and was awarded the world middleweight championship belt by the WBC in recognition of his twenty years fight for freedom. Such an honor never bestowed on any fighter outside of the ring. But the Hurricane did.

Catch A Fire (2006)

"In my nights and the days, I moved closer to prove my mind that it was him. That monster. Then I said to myself "Patrick, you can end it now". "Break his neck. Kill him. Here in this spot. End it. As I was walking towards him I said "No, oh, no! Killing is not going to help me. Revenge is not good... It's going to carry on war for this generation and the next generation. Let me let him live and then I will he free. I am free and everyone is free." Patric Chamusso recalled. He, like other average people, who always loves peace and persudes his fellow to cooperate with the government, should have led a happy life with his wife and children as he has a job. Meantime, he coached a children football team and led them a champion. Unfortunately, he was thought to be a terrorist. Race discrimination and misunderstanding turn the white and the negro enermies. It annoyed Patric Chamusso a real terroist who volunteered to bomb the oil fiedl where he had been working as a chief forman. Nic Vos(by Tim Robbins) a white anti-terroist expert tried to stop him. Patric was caught and arrested. But he and his people win.
In a nutshell, war and suffering go hand in hand. Thus, no one would get anyting but pain in a war.

Billy Elliot (2006)

Daning, still dancing. But this time, it is a boy, Bill Elliot who performs ballet. Lads, who perform ballet, would generally be thought as a gay, not like a man or not manlike way. His father and brother were against him at the beginning and became to support when they found his talent on such wonderful thing. His father who supported the miner strike gave that up and became a "scab" as he and his fellows always called all for the money needed for Billy. He even went to a hockshop had the golden watch and jewelry which might be inherited from grandpa pawned. Michael Caffrey, Billy's teacher, who had her own life messed up, did all she can to gave him a help.
I love the song at the beginning of the film. It's funny.

My Left Foot (1989)

It is inccredible that a man with only one part of his anatomy animated, his left foot became a famous artist. He could even speak until he is 19 yeares old for the cerebral palsy. He showed his great talent when he was still a boy and had never attended in any school. He shocked his family as he chalked out "MOTHER" on the floor with his left foot. The first work was intended to give a girl he loved as a gift but he failed the first time he showed his love to girls. The second time was his doctor, who was going to married. Life was so difficult for such poor guy. Casually, he met his wife on a charity party. He let his wife know what she did wanna get. She got C.B. Christy Brown.

Chinses Odyssey (2002)

Open Season (2006)

Life in the woods near a small town is wonderful for it will soon be the OPEN Season. There, Boog, a grizzly bearand Elliot,a mule deer( I may call it a mule or a donkey more exactly and I am quite puzzled why choose such a deer with only one horn left), are leaving the woods from the town at such a dangerous time. Unfortunately, they are kicked off by other animals in the woods. When the "Open Season" comes, they stand together and let the hunters eff off. This cartoon film is so wonderful and looks like a painting.

What Would It Turn Out To Be If Just Let It Go

On a evening bus which moves forward with jerks there standing were two. The Woman showed the young pretty a seat when someone got off. At that time the young pretty were dancing tuned to the jerks. She might do some excise after her danging lesson. She followed her mother. When it was time for them to get off, the young pretty seemed to exercise again. " Hold it steady" The young was stopped. Then the bus arrived at the stop and they got off.
It might be danger if you didn't hold steady. Or might not.

The Guardian (2006)

There's a legendof a man who lives beneath the sea. He is a fisher of men, the last hope of all thosewho have been left behind. Many survivors claim to have felthis gripping hands beneath them, pushing them up to the surface, whispering strengthuntil help could arrive. But this, of course, is only a legend.
Then, the question is "What makes a legend?". Is it what someone didwhen they were alive... or how they're remembered after they're gone? Randall( by Kevin Costner) and Jack( by Ashton Kutcher) told a story.
Jack was eager to know how may persond did Randall have saved when he heard that Randall still kept a record—saved the most lives, 200 or 300, even though jack broke many records which had been made by Randall. "What's your real number?" "22" "22? That's not bad. It's not 200. It's not..." "22 is the number of peopleI lost, Jake. Only number I kept track of." Randall cared much more about the life he's saving and the number he lost not how many he had saved.
Randall becomes a fisher of man and lives beneath the sea after he had signed for his retirement and had his last mission for an emergency.
Do enjoy the last two songs.

Dead Man Walking (1995)

"Dead man walking!" the policeman shouted out as Matthew Poncelet (by Sean Pan) was going to be taken to he death chamber. It may be why this film has such a name.
Sister Helen(by Susan Sarandon) didn't knew Matthew until she heard from him and met him in the state prison for the first time. She made a decision to help him free as a non wiht a kind
heart to help anyone as she can. Matthew was a murderer who killed a young couple and raped the lady. It was incredible to average people that there is someone who' willing to help those monsters alike. Sister Helen did. She found him lawers to save him from being killed but they failed and Matthew was killed. Nevertheless, he realized his fault, confessed and wanted to get forgiven from the relatives of the victims.
What would we do to a murder going to be killed?
Ps This film helped Susan win the Best Actress in the leading role of Oscar in 1996.

The Lost Battalion (2001)

"Major, could you read for my Bible?" A badly wounded soldier put his hands on the breast with a bloody Bible. Maj. Whittlesey, got the Bible and found it dipped with blood and unable to be separated. “Almighty God…Let me never be put in confusion…” he hadn’t finished his word till his man was dead. The tale was about a 600-troop which was consisted of men from America, Poland, Ireland and many other countries, against the Germany in WWI. They were separated from their division and in German surrounding. Everyday Maj. Whittlesey collected many dog tags from his dead men. They were forgotten. Even worse, they were shot by their own cannons. All they had to delivery messages was pigeons. They did help them greatly. They insisted fighting and held the battalion. They were told that they would be supported and the French would give them a hand. The support did catch up with them and even their men looking for the French’s backup were killed and never returned. They got lost. They were on their own. Soldiers had no food and tried to get some from the dead Germans in the battle field. They got something to eat and one called the other one. The other one was too excited and stood up. Then bullets came and he fell down. It was a disaster.
They finally were found by the division and got back. Those men got found. Less than 100 or even less was live, I am not sure.
Ps Maj. Whittlesey was a lawyer from America

Last Exit (2006)

Everydy everyone are under more pressure to get where we are going to get with less time to get there. Eventually and unfortunately, we have to have something giving up, something as priceless as life. Two women in anger made the disaster with one(Kathleen Robertson) killed by the other (Andrea Roth) with a gun and her leg cut off. The reason is so simple. They both drived in a hurry. One stood on the other's way and made anxiety, then updated to conflict, chasing and then a disaster.
Life is busy and lives are valuable.

Green Card (1990)

People cheat to get what they want. The Franch wanna get a gree card in America and the lady was eager to live in a apartment with one splendid gard inside. Then they entered into a marriage fraud, or called shame marriage. It was checked by the immigration department. Two officers examined them respectivly. They were asked many questions as how tall she/he was. They did prepare for all the questions but those two were strangers though they had a few time together. The French messed it without doubt but only one question. They all lost their chances. However, these two guys fell in love with each other as they stayed together to prepare the examination.

Gideon and his army

Judge and hero of ancient Israel, whose deeds are described in the Old Testament Book of Judges. The book contains two versions of Gideon's story. In one account, he led his tribe of Manasseh in a victorious campaign against the Midianites, then fashioned an idolatrous image from the booty and led Israel into immorality. In another version, he replaced worship of the local deity, Baal, with that of Yahweh (the God of Israel), and the power of Yahweh enabled his tribe to destroy the Midianites.

Blood Diamond (2006)

It happened in Sierra Leone in 1993. There it is always said" If you want life long, never touch the diamond". It is true.
Diamnods are transparent and a little pink. While I have never wear a diamnod ring or these alike, I have no idea what are they exactly look like. TIA, this is Africa. Those African countries, especially in Sierra Leonein, are rich in diamonds. The soil is red and is painted by blood as they say. It may be the reason why a diamnod is a little pink. When you see the film would you still ask to have a diamond ring or diamond necklace to wear when you get married if you can afford that. If you are humanbeings you will not have such a diamond of conflict.
In Januar 2003, 40 countries signed "The Kimberley Process"- an effort to stem of the flow of conflict-diamonds. But illegal diamonds are still found their way to market. It is up to the consumer to insist that a diamond is conflict-free.
Today there are still 200, 000 child soliders in Africa. They are trained to us guns, knives. etc. any kind weapons to kill people, no matter whether he/she is a child or an old man. They also inevitalbly are killed. They have home but they are homeless

Big Movie (2006)

What goes around comes around
It must be familiar with this photo as it is something alike the one in Shimian Maifu (directed by Zhang Yi-mou). Sure, it plays jokes on so many movies, someone which is as famous as Forrest Gump, Matrix, Broken Mountain and so on. There are some from domestic ones like Shimian Maifu, Kungfu, etc. Just joking. Zhang and his coteries dream of being as the winner of Oscar and direct couples of so called Big Movies. They always dream and make garbage time and again. That's why people always laugh at them and they won't do if these guys just failed without the garbage.
It begins as a pigeon flying and singing in the sky. Then comes a feather falling down. It copies from Forrest Gump. Anyone who has watched the film will remember “Life was like a box of chocolate. You never know what you are gona get.” Here it's quoted and made some changes. Anderson(by Zeng Zhi-wei), is kindhearted. He's cheated and buy a house with his shop mortgaged. It didn't help him earn anything but lost his shop. He wanted to sell it and get the money back. However, he gave it up as he saw Mr. Wei had the same story as him. He refused to share the anger and grievance. Then a miracle comes. One occasional boom brought him a spring below the lawn at he front of his house. Fate changed and he became rich as he sold the spring water.
Big Movie, just a joke.

Baruto No Gakuen (2006)

A story happened in Japan during the First World War. It's directed by the Japanese, many of the German soldiers in the film were not Germans, but Hungarians, Russians, Norwegians, Swedes, Americans, British and Canadian people. They did so well except something on the pronouncing.
The German soldiers led a happy life after being transported to another prisoner-of-war camp. Matsue is in charge there. He is enlightened and glad to open to new things. He allowed the prisoners had their own newspaper and enjoyed their food like home. He found one who had escaped twice and returned back was a excellent baker. The baker adopted a German-Japan blood girl who's the daughter of one of his comrades in arms and he agreed to live in Japan as a baker. The chief knew how to win the trust of the prisoners and he showed them his kind heart. They of course put their faith in him. He refused to go to the prison by carriage every-day and he chose to ride a bicycle even thought he cannot turn around at the crossing and he had to get down and made a turning. He also let prisoners to teach pupils music, gym and so on. He did. When the budget was cut off, he tried all he could to ensure the supply. He brought his subordinates and the prisoners to the mountain to do logging and earned money. Matsue should have run a successful business if he were allowed as he had the ability to manage it.
This film is classified as history, but I don't know if it was a romance or based on a true story. It would be fine to let the Germans tell the story.

Flags of Our Fathers (2006)

What do we call hero? The one still alive or died in the war? Hero is something we created and something we needed. While people seldom remembered the dead ones but the live ones only. Soon all are going to be forgotten. There's no such thing is hero's.
Soliders would once in war always in war. They never got out. War leaves nothing but wounds. They oftern scared from dreams and cannot fall asleep again. All in their minds are images on the war field and their dead fellows.
It is out of my vision, quite different from what I thought to be. There is no too much frames about the battle but wandered from the reality to island, time and again. Most of them are after-war things.
You taste it you like it.

Seminary:What's the best time in your life?

It's been said that your high school years tend to be some of the best of your life, and that you will never again be as free of commotments and worries(Page 16, from Why Should White Guys Have All the Fun by Reginald F. Lewis and Blair S. Walker). It evokes me such a question.
Then what's ur opinion? When u were a infant, child or in primary school and so on. Most high school students aren't so happy as those in US, for their tough work and burden to pass the college entrance examnations. While I and some of classmates enjoyed ourselves in the first two years in our high school life. We can do what we want after class while the others still study hard day and night. Life became not easy till the last year and everyone always kept silent. It would mainly determine one's destination. Soon after the exams were over, all free. I would never forget the moment. I would never have it once again even though I felt like the just moment.

Shit rolls downhill

As they say in Missouri: Shit rolls downhill. By which we (Jack Stack and his fellows) mean change begins at the top. This adage means when something is wrong the blame goes to the subordiantes. Not all the native speakers know exactly. The more you read, the more you learn. you gotta wanna.

Still Life (2006)

Sanxia Haoren, with its English title Still Life, is directed by Zhang-ke Ja. It seems that Ja told us two totally isolated stroies. In fact, that two stories are tightly connected. These two both come from Shanxi and search for their family, San-ming Han(on the right hand on the post) for his wife and Tao Zhao(on the left hand side on the post) for her husband. The difference is that Zhao left her husband away and Han went home alone to earn money to pay his wife back. It is interesting that Ja is also from Shaxi and he always advertises his hometown in his films. Almost all stories is about people from Shanxi or just happened there. Another trivia is that Zhao is Ja's girlfriend and Han is Ja's cousin. He's previously a miner and this his second time in Ja's film while Zhao always show in Ja's films since his first one. People's life nearby the Dam on the Yangtze River is so tough. It is incredible that you pay for ¥1.2 for one day accommodation. People here don't share any happiness of the great dam building in their hometown. On the contrast, they are forced to leave from their neighborhood and go far away. They got little atonement for the immigration. Life is not easy and now it is more difficult. Han bought his wife at the price ¥ 3 000 (about $ 400) 18 years ago and she was rescued for it is illegal to buy or sell persons. They have a daughter and now she’s 16 years old. He wanted they two go home with him and his wife agreed. But now Han had to pay ¥30 000 for the debt from his brother in law. Such a poor guy had no enough money and had to do as a coal miner in the illegal mine. He did all he can to have his family together even though it's dangerous and may kill him there.
