It wasn't because we were brave, but because we had no choice.
Our freedom was all that mattered.
If war produce one thing. It's many cemeteries. And in cemeteries there are no enemies.
Nothing happens without cause.

A Failure of Imagination

From the Earth to the Moon(1998): it took human beings years of time to make the dream coming true. Large amounts of money, labors, geniuses were put on that. Meantime, some lost their life. They paid too much on them.

Apollo One caught a fire and three astronauts died. It should have been avoided, but because a failure of imagination. No one thought that the spacefight would burn out on the ground, but it did explored. They learned much from the tragedy.

Ideas are the most valuable the world, whether you agree or not. That's my two cents.
