A fews ago, he met Jose and became friends. It was Jose that helpped him with his bags. He annoyed, trainded and took advantages of him. He made Jose a hero and General but found it hard to get him under control. Jose was no longer a slave and he was a man with his own way to think. They agrued on what civilization was exactly. They parted and Jose saw him off . Jose helpped him with his bags again. This time it was for free. He saw him off as friend for the last time. After William came back again they became enemies. William caught Jose and wanted to set him free on the night before Jose was going to be hung. " What good does it do?" " What meaning does it have, Jose?" " Is it a revenge of some sort " " But what kind of revenge is it if you're dead?" Jose just sat in silence. William never got the answer until he was leaving while Jose was sent to be hung. The answer was about civilization.
