A story about a lovely pig, Wilbur and the amazing spider, Charlotte, together with their friends. Wilbur is thought too little and unworth being raised any more. Fern(by Dakota Fanning) insists keeping this lovely pig and lives, eats, sleeps with it. She even goes to school with it. It is the first time Fern saves Wilbur's life. When Wilbur is big enough and Fern's parents don't allow she keeps it home. Fern has to leave it in a warehouse on the farm nearby and she will say goodbye before going to school and tell stories after back home.Wilbur has many friends on the farm, the spider, rat, horses, gooses and sheep. He is funny and always says" Great name" when he is told other's name. When he get familiar with Charlotte (voiced by Julia Roberts), he life is changed. A small spider saved his life many times. People want to kill the pig before Christmas. However, they give it up when they as they find amazing word spelled on the spider' web just on the door of the warehouse. It makes Wilbur famous around and attracting many visits. Unfortunately Charlotte died after the exhibit, but she give birth many sons and daughters which are brought back to the farm. The animals no doubt lead a happy life on the farm. So does Fern.
